BETTER RUN FOR COVER, IN YOUR HURRICANE FULL OF LIES you better stop messing around , DON'T SAY YOUR SORRY FOR BREAKING EVERY INCH OF MY HEART - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The day had started out loud and now everything seemed so quiet. If you sat still, you could probably hear a pin drop in the grass of all things. Eliot walked slowly, running his fingers through his black hair. The entire day had been nothing slight of boring for him. Nothing interesting had happened, and he doubted his change of location would help it either. The young boy took a look around, spotting no one familiar and then sat on a bench. If luck were on his side today, someone would show up and turn his day around. He could only hope for the best, really.
A sigh past through his lips as he looked around, waiting for something to happen. Maybe that wasn't the way to answer his boredom, but he couldn't think of any other way to do it. He had already finished all of his work in full, leaving nothing undone, including his extra credit. That had left him with nothing to do, not a single drop of work to bury himself in. That only left him with free time, a thing he never knew what to do with. He wasn't the type who would go out with some wild idea that was fun. He was the kid who thought everything through, planned everything before doing it. Sometimes that left him bored and alone, but he felt better in the end knowing that he didn't do something crazy and stupid.
That was probably what he needed right then. A friend who would help him in his escape of a day full of boredom and despair. That to him was a far fetched idea, one that he never thought would come true. "Like that would ever happen...", he thought aloud, muttering the words under his breath. He ran his fingers through his hair again, staring at the dewy grass beneath his feet. The green expanse before him was so perfect, he felt wrong having his feet on it. Closing his eyes, he acted as if nothing were there, as if his day wasn't as dull as it seemed. As if it were all a dream.
A sound patter of rain surprised him and he stood up without haste. The reason he loved Ireland was the way it always seemed to surprise people with rain, no matter how sunny it was it could always change to gloomy, gray clouds above and drenched clothes and squishy earth below. A laugh ripped through him as he ran for the closet gazebo, his feet sinking just the smallest inch into the perfect green grass below him. Eliot sat down on the cement seat, his chest rising up and down in an uneven pattern. Another laughed peeled through him, and he doubled over in a short fit. The rain had cleared the dullness of the day off of him, and he felt energy course through him with no outlet. Maybe someone would come along like he hoped, just maybe.

I'D NEVER GONE WITH THE WIND JUST LET IT FLOWLET IT TAKE ME WHERE IT WANTS TO GO ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deandra had been wandering the grounds of the campus, just like any other day. Lately, she had been bored to the point that that was all she did. Today, though, she had thought to bring a small digital camera with her. She though maybe she would take pictures of random objects throughout the grounds. As she passed by a tree, she took a picture. She passed by a rock that looked like a head, and took a picture, laughing quietly to herself. It was amazing what you could discover while randomly walking around.
Deandra looked up at the sky as she pulled out a bag of Lays salt and vinegar chips out of her white shoulder bag. It was sunny, and she loved how the sun felt beating down on her shoulders, warming them to a comfortable temperature. She smiled to herself. Life couldn't get any better, could it? She thought. Usually, on a day like this, she would be doing something completely random, and pretty stupid. She couldn't wait to go bungee jumping with Ivory, so she probably would have been doing something to prepare for that if she hadn't been so mellow today.
Deandra plopped down on the grass, and looked at her feet. They looked awkwardly cool in the position they were in, pointing inward toward each other. The way the ballet flats looked enclosing her feet while they were in that position made her want to laugh, so she took a picture of them. Why not enjoy a completely random day of nothingness?
As Deandra laid back and closed her eyes, she felt a drop of rain land on her face. Soon enough, rain was falling rapidly onto her, soaking her green sundress through. She smiled, got up, and started skipping in it. The rain felt just as good as the sun while it hit her skin, cooling her down. Just as suddenly as the rain had come, Deandra heard a laugh. Looking up from her feet, her soaking hair falling in her face, she saw Eliot laughing for what looked like no apparent reason.
Skipping over to him, Deandra smiled. When she reached the gazebo he was at, she pulled off her sunglasses, and looked at him. "And what's so funny, Mr.?" Deandra asked, smiling, snapping a quick picture of him. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STATUS! COMPLETE TAGGED! Eliot:) NOTES! BETTER RUN FOR COVER, IN YOUR HURRICANE FULL OF LIES you better stop messing around , DON'T SAY YOUR SORRY FOR BREAKING EVERY INCH OF MY HEART - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The sound of someone's voice made the boy jump, his shoes squeaking on the cement below him. Looking up he saw a drenched, smiling Deandra. Ah, his savior! He jumped up and smiled at her, shoving his hands in his pockets, his very soaked pockets. "Uhm, the rain?", he said it like a question, tilting his head to the right. Oddly, the girl before him looked pretty, even though she was soaked through and through. She looked so perfect, like she was meant to be running and skipping through the rain.
A sigh ran through him and he sat back down, patting the slightly wet seat beside him. Eliot watched the rain fall down, laughing quietly as he thought about how amazingly bored he had been only moments before. "So, Ms. Deandra, what are you doing out here in this wonderful weather?", he asked her, turning himself in her direction and taking in her state once again. Her green dress reminded him of a dried version of the grass he had previously found perfect, but now as he looked around him, it was beaten and battered by the glorious rain.
The young boy rocked back and forth, listening to the pitter-patter of the morning rain. His eyes continued to stray back to his companion, but he tried to hold himself together for his own sake. She was pretty, but so were so many other girls at the school, and yet he still looked at her like she was the best. It was strange, because he didn't see her sisters this way, it was just her. That meant it wasn't her looks, but what else could it be? Eliot shook his head, erasing his thoughts before they went to far. She was his friend, possibly one of his closest friends. He couldn't think of her that way, it just wasn't right.
He stared at his feet, pushing the front of his shoe back and forth against the floor. The white polished wood of the gazebo glinted in the rain and he smiled. The day had turned from dullness to a great day. He nudged his friend's shoulder with his own, giving her a cheesy grin. "I'm glad your here. I wouldn't want to be here with anyone else.", he spoke quietly, looking back down at his feet when he'd finished saying the few words. He had no idea why he'd said that, but he was happy he had. His fingers tapped against the seat beneath him, a steady beat sounded with the rain. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - LYRIC CREDIT demi levato & mcfly:) BANNER CREDIT THE LUCY SOUND ?!TEMPLATE CREDIT LIZZ SAY WERD ?!THREADING WITH D-D-Deandra! I'D NEVER GONE WITH THE WIND JUST LET IT FLOWLET IT TAKE ME WHERE IT WANTS TO GO ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Deandra smiled at Eliot. She found it kind of humorous that he was laughing at the rain, and couldn't help but chuckle a little to herself. "So... The rain is really that interesting?" She had always found the rain as more soothing than humorous. But, hey, that was her. Everyone was subject to their own opinion.
Deandra looked at Eliot. He was wet from the rain, and she knew he looked good. But, it was awkward, them being close friends, for her to think that, so she shook the thought out of her head. When he pat the wet seat next to him, Deandra skipped over and sat down. She ran her hands over her dress to smooth out any wrinkles, and looked at the falling rain, going into a dazed state. The way it hit the roof above them reminded her of a drum. Then, a random song popped into her head. Blame it on the goose, got you feeling loose. Blame it on the Petron, got you in the zone. Blame it on the a-a-a-lcohol baby. Ran through her head. It was the last song she had listened to on her iPod, and the one that was stuck in her head. She hummed softly to herself, not exactly knowing it.
"So, Ms. Deandra, what are you doing out her in this wonderful weather?" Deandra heard Eliot ask. She snapped out of her daze, smiling at him and his seemingly flawless features. "The thing I am always doing.. dancing." She said, standing up and doing a quick twirl, then sitting back down. "Well, actually, before I was just wandering around wondering what things I could get into... Maybe a swim in the lake, or a climb up a tree. I wonder if there are monkeys up there..." She said, letting her mind wander for a split second before turning back to Eliot. "What about you?"
Deandra looked down at a small scuff on her white shoes, bending down to try and rub it out. When she wound up having no luck with it, she sat back up. "Stupid shoes..." She mumbled a little to herself before she felt Eliot nudge her with his shoulder. She looked up at him, and when she saw his smile, she smiled back. Deandra smiled at his next words. "It's exactly the same for me." She said, nudging him also. Then she stood up. "C'mon, let's dance.." She said, smiling, holding out her hand. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- STATUS! COMPLETE TAGGED! Eliot:) NOTES! Awwhhh...
