Here's the skinny:
A little bit of background. Shalimar, or Shal to those who know her is in her thirteenth year of schooling, is nineteen and currently a student of music. As a topaz, she has the life of a hard worker. She grew up in a working household, brought up on strong values and character. When she received her spot at the Academy, Shal's dreams were about to come true. She's a strong willed girl with a wild streak, who loves a good time, and isn't afraid to stick up for those less fortunate or to stick it to those who flaunt their money and status around. A strong girl with a southern background and a powerhouse voice. Music is her passion, it always has been or always will. Everything relates back to the music, and music is her art.
Friends
Friends are important, to say the least. New people are about the most fascinating thing to Shal. She'll never turn someone away, and she'll never judge a book by its cover, so to speak. Shal is the kind of girl who can fit in any kind of social realm. If she needs to be quiet and reserve, she can. If she needs to be wild and crazy, she'll jump to it. Go crazy, cause the sky is the limit.
Enemies
It takes a lot to become one of Shal's enemies. In fact, it takes extremes to become her enemy. While she is good at making friends, and will befriend anyone, there are those out there who want nothing to do with her, and in return, she wants nothing to do with them. Although she is quite maintained and demeaned, she'll throw down if it comes to it. Don't be shy, everyone has enemies!

Like any normal, red blooded girl, Shal loves love. Though a bit traditional in the area of romance, she'll take risks every now and then. Love and lust are separate in her eyes, yet she'll take a combination if it presents itself. Men are not uncharted waters for this nineteen year old, and though one day she hopes for love and marriage, she settles for the in the moment kind of relationships.
