Willa lifted the basketball above her head, and with a flick of her wrist, it was flying through the air toward the hoop. When the ball landed in with a swoosh, she smiled. When she heard the sound of rubber making contact with the pavement once again, she smiled to herself, and ran to get the ball.

So most girls here would not be caught dead sweating, well, on the higher levels she would guess. Actually, she had a feeling her sister wouldn't even be caught dead sweating. But, that's why Willa always felt she was the oddball. If her brother wasn't busy with whatever he was doing right now, she would probably be playing a one on one game with him. But, he was off somewhere in lalaland doing god knows what. And, really, she didn't care. He is a teenage, and he had to live his life.

Willa dribbled the ball back to half-court, and once again lifted it above her head, getting ready to shoot. This time, and she threw it, the ball hit the backboard, and bounced back to her. "Shit." She mumbled to herself, picking the ball back up, and dribbling it again. THis time, she counted the number of times the basketball hit the pavement before she threw it. 15 she thought to herself. Because this time, the ball made it in.

Willa ran to get the ball, and attempted the throw again. This time, the ball went soaring over the backboard, and landed at the feet of someone on their way to the courts. Willa's face dropped to an apologetic smile as she jogged over to the person. "I'm so sorry, I meant for it to go in the basket..." She said, before she realized how stupid that sentence sounded. Of course it was meant to go in the basket. She was playing basketball.
