20 minutes earlier...
Deandra had walked into the dance studio, a smile on her face, and her hair curly, loose, and falling delicately around her face. She had her outfit perfectly picked out, and matched up, the straps her black sports bra barely showing when you looked at her from behind. When she walked in, Deandra had on a pair of Rainbow flip-flops, but she immediately sat down and changed into her jazz shoes. Standing up, she shook out her body before she started stretching. Deandra slipped down into a right split, and then after a minute, spun in a circle into a left split. She then did the same thing, spinning into a stratal. Deandra then 'swam through' onto her stomach. She pushed herself up to where she was standing up, and reached for her toes. After staying there for about two minutes, enjoying the feeling of her muscles stretching, she stood back up, and walked over to the stereo system.
Plugging in her iPod, Miss Independent by Ne-Yo blared through the speakers. Deandra sashayed to the middle of the room, and just started dancing, un-choreographed. She just let the music take over her body. Sure, she was pretty sure she looked like a complete idiot, but she really didn't care. and it wasn't like anyone was watching. When she had came in, she had came in with a lot of stress. The day had been hard, and she had gotten in a pretty big fight with her sisters. But, once Deandra had started the music, and started dancing, everything just melted away. And because she was so taken over by the music, she had thought she could actually do a side pod. She went toward the ground, and up on her hands... and then she fell. Her wrist snapped back, and she sucked in a breath.
Which lead to Deandra getting up, attempting to dance with a hurt wrist, and not really succeeding. [/size]
