i think they'd be good at being friends, because she's not amazingly rich it won't miff him that she has money. just as long as she can put up with playful flirting, teasing, and his protective nature, they should do fine.

Okay, great :] Playful teasing and other sorts shouldn't be a problem unless it goes outta hand.
