welcome to tree hill
Welcome to Tree Hill, it’s not one of most well known towns, in fact, there are very few people outwith North Carolina who even know about it. Don’t let the fact that it’s a small town fool you though, Tree Hill is not exactly a dull place to live. While we all know the prospect of respecting our elders, in this town it’s the younger generation that gets all the attention around here. Mostly because they are the ones keeping the town on its’ toes waiting for the next drama to unfold.
The seniors at Tree Hill High are facing their final year, getting ready to apply for college and make their way into the big bad world of reality, relationships and life. Though there are the others who have dreams which they don’t need college for. Some of the seniors have their hearts set on internships, record labels, family businesses, the lot. While basketball star Nathan Scott and his, ahem, wife, Haley James Scott are expecting their first child, a new romance blooms in the senior class with Lucas Scott and Peyton Sawyer. Everyone saw that coming, but nobody expected the arrival of Whitney Gatina to stir up the lives of her cousin Rachel Gatina and roommate Brooke Davis. And what's all this about some new family moving into town? The Wells? Well, I heard they have some dodgy business involving a political sex scandal, but we'll have to hear about that later.
So all things considered, it seems like this is going to be a fun year for the residents of Tree Hill. While the students are discovering themselves and the bodies of their fellow classmates, testing their boundaries when it comes to those oh so illegal substances and letting everything go when it comes to those raging parties – the law enforcement have all but given up on trying to keep order. It’s why the focus lies on the young generation. With the new juniors set on becoming like the now seniors, it all seems like history is repeating itself with the arrival of all this drama and chaos.
But even the smallest of secrets are never safe, gossip spreads fast. So hold on to your hats Tree Hill – life just got a lot more interesting.
