he grumbled. Usually he woke up before eleven, but no, today he had decided to sleep in until twelve-thirty. He threw his books back into his bag roughly, wrinkling a few pages of one of his textbooks. A page of notes tore out of a binder. “Crap.” Alex groaned. Despite the lovely weather, today just wasn’t his day. He picked up the piece of looseleaf and stuffed it in his messenger bag, then flattened out the pages in his textbook and slammed it shut. Alexandros sighed and shoved his bag under the bench while he decided to lie down, folding his hands under his head. A nice nap while he waited for some one to text him would do some good, even after the seven and a half-hour sleep he had last night…and this morning. But even with his shades, he couldn’t get to sleep thanks to the sun. So Alex rolled over and ended up falling, face down, off the bench. “Craaaaap.”word count a fabulous 344 :| tagged daisy saunders. status fiinitoo. comments shorttt >.<

LIKE YOURE GHOST, I SPEND THE DAY WONDERING WHAT YOU DO WHERE YOU GO - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Looking up into the bright sun Daisy held her hand over her eyes. In her still slightly drunken state the sun was blinding her. Walking lazily out of the more shaded area of the stately arch from the main building out to the bightly lit courtyard. Pulling her sleek black messenger bag around to the front of herbody she opened it to find what she had come out here to play with. From her bag she pulled out her first camera, an old polaroid 600 instant camera. Smiling at the old chunky piece of junk that it is. It dident really matter, it was still her favroite camera. Carefully placing the old leather strap around her thin neck.
Setting the heavy black camera agind her chest she adjusted the scarf that was currently alittle too tight around her neck. Pushing back her soft brown hair from her face she looked around at the others who were filling up the open court yard. Daisy was no longer Daisy. She was now her alter self, she was now Eloise. Dedicated to her art form, sure of herself, a photographer on the job. Her hands flew up into the smooth plastic cover of camera, almost protective. Loveingly running the tips of her thin fingers aginst the front. God, she loved that camera.
Looking around the courtyard once again, but this time with a different view, she was now looking for shots. She found her first one. Walking abit closer and holding the camera up to her face, her finger poised over the capture button. The focus was on a younger bonde girl wrapped up in scarfs, reading a large copy of cat in the hat. She found the best angle and pressed down on the button. The camera made a loud satisfying clapping sound as the flash went off. In a second or two the slightly off square picture came out, the lines were still weak and darkening. Taking it in her hand she fanned her face with it, then looked down at the now almost fully developed photo. Smiling at it she though, she still has it. But then she heard a thud, turning around she saw a firmilar person on the ground almost under a bench. She laughed, walking toward the boy, kneeling by him she pressed the button the loud noise and flash sounded. “Why hello Ally!” she said laughing, pulling the picture out and waving it. Looking down at it she smiled, “Wow, this is deffinatly a keeper.”

he said, and he whipped out his little digital camera and snapped a shot of her. “That’s really great.” He turned the camera so that she could see the screen. After she had a good look at it, Alexandros snatched the Polaroid picture from her hand so that he could see. Beautiful; although he didn’t look too attractive in this one, he liked it. It made him laugh. Now Alex decided that laying on the ground was a great idea, and he grabbed hold of Daisy’s wrist and pulled her down with him, making sure to try not to whack her Polaroid. She would probably kill him if he broke it. He shoved his bag with all of his school crap farther under the bench. He watched as birds twittered and flew past – corny, he realized, but he was incredibly bored – and smiled that he was just wearing a white t-shirt instead of a t-shirt, a sweater, and a raincoat. The weather had been terrible in Ireland for…well, a really long time, so this was like a gift from god. “What brings you over here at this time, Daisy Doo?” Alex asked, looking over at her. He took the other Polaroid picture she had taken, of the girl in the scarves. “Wow, stalker much?!” he teased. But he couldn’t really talk – he’d done the same thing so many times, taking pictures of random students around the school. They were probably all used to the photographers whipping out cameras of all shapes and sizes and snapping pictures. word count another whoppin' 318. tagged daisy daisy doo. status durne. comments also gross short blah.
