`` So lets shine brighter than the stars ~
It was a really nice day out on Crystal Lake...Not too many people were crowding it so it was peaceful and quiet. Just the way Alicia liked it...Of course she also liked having someone to talk to. She could probably talk on and on all day with her close friends. But it was always nice to get away and be in silence for a bit. The sun gently sparkled over the lake, making it look like a lake from a fairy tale or a fantasy world. She never really took notice to the sun unless it was actually useful like giving her light so that she could read or casting pretty shadows across the valley. Alicia was more of a rain person rather than sun...It sounds weird but she loves to feel the cool, soft rain drops on her skin. She even loves to dance in the rain...or model in it. To her rain was just relaxing and soothing...And most people found that odd, like her brother. Yet again that’s her brother...he finds everything she does odd. Brother…He was a nuisance at times and was always too protective of her…He pretty much scared off the last guy she went on a date with! She remembered being mad at him for months after that.
Alicia’s mind wandered to many things as she sat down on the soft grass right in front of the lake. She peered into the water to see her reflection look back at her. Her hand gently brushed the top of the water making ripples go through it. The water was cool but comfortable against her skin. She pulled her hand away then glanced over at a small flower floating on the top of the water near by. Alicia enjoyed all this pretty scenery and she loved to take the time out of her day to just sit there and look at it all. Then again she couldn’t stay there all day because she had modeling to get back to and that was pretty much her life. She loves modeling and definitely wasn’t going to give it up.
Suddenly a loud cracking noise came up from somewhere behind her, making her jump. She always tended to jump when it was really quiet and some random noise broke off. She was that kind of girl…Like watching a horror movie makes her jump even more! She loves horror movies but all the surprisingly loud noises shocked her, making her jump. Alicia turned her body around to see who or what had made that noise that startled her…

Ryan enjoyed walking to the water, it gave him good relief from the stresses of trying to work constantly. School would suck really bad if he ever got behind, so he knew, now would be a good time to do what he wanted. The girl he had met, had been really nice, hopefully it (the trend) would keep going. Yeah, he knew there would be some people he wouldn't get along with, but he was batting .1000, maybe he could keep it up. The wind was at his back, a good feeling. His black nike sneakers were breaking the small driftwood beneath his feet. He could instantly feel that musical side of him come up.

He knew that time was of the essence. School would pick up, and make it really hard for practice time. He looked ahead and saw the object of his devotion, the lake. He stopped singing to look t it longingly. The endless glass surface, smooth as a mirror. He wanted to take it all in, but found some girl around the corner. 'this wasn't going to be as boring as I thought I guess' he thought as he looked at her briefly then went back to his business. He took out his phone, checked the time, then put it back in its place. He took his shirt and laid down on the green grass, after putting his towel down. He was tan, and he had a six-pack, surely this girl would be attracted to him.

Alicia's eyes found a boy...That's what had startled her? Well at least it wasn’t some maniac, killer animal. She watched as the boy set down his shirt then towel and sat down. He wasn’t bad looking, in fact he was rather good looking but she wasn’t going to judge just by looks. She liked to get to know people better. She shifted then glanced around the area...it seemed no one else was around but her and this boy who just sat down. She could always make small talk and talk to the boy but then again she wasn’t sure if he would be nice and talk back. You never know unless you try right? Her eyes moved back toward the boy then she spoke lightly; “Hi. Nice day to be at the lake, huh?” That was easy enough and a simple question. Normally it was weird when Alicia meets new people…she gets a bit nervous and shy but then again once you get to know her she opens up more.
Her eyes fixed on a small bird that flew down from a tree and landed right next to the lake. It was staring into the water at something…maybe a fish? There were lots of fish in the lake from what she had seen the last time she came here. The fish were pretty too…different colors and shapes. She peered in to get a closer look into the water and sure enough there were a few small golden fish swimming around. She smiled at the fish which ended up just swimming away. She took her eyes off the water and back over to the boy as she pulled a piece of her bangs out of her face. Her hair was always getting in the way so she constantly was messing with it.
